1. Data Minimization & Free Offline Mode

patentbarexam.app is designed with privacy-by-default. You can use all 50 free practice questions, the 10-question timed mock exam, and all 32 educational guides without creating an account. In free mode, your quiz progress and theme preference are stored exclusively in your browser’s local storage (localStorage) and never leave your device.

2. Information We Collect When You Create an Account or Purchase

• Authentication Data (Clerk): When you sign up to sync progress or purchase a pass, Clerk manages your email address, authentication credentials, and session security.
• Entitlement & Profile Records (Cloudflare D1): We store your Clerk user ID, email, purchased tier (free, hero, or master), access expiration date, and Stripe customer ID in our Cloudflare D1 database, plus any question flags you submit.
• Payment Processing (Stripe): Credit card and billing details are processed directly by Stripe. We never see or store your card numbers.
• Privacy-Friendly Analytics: We use cookieless Plausible Analytics (or optional anonymized GA4 where configured) to measure aggregate page views.

3. Your GDPR / CCPA Rights & Self-Service Account Deletion

You have the right to access, export, or permanently delete your personal data at any time. To delete your account and purge all associated rows in our Cloudflare D1 database (profiles, entitlements, and flags), visit your Dashboard and click Delete Account & Data, or email us via our Contact page.
